Welcome to Speaking Sparrow Class!

We are a class of Year 1 children and our class teacher is Ms Clark, Mrs Paton is our teaching assistant and Mrs Antliff will teach us PE lessons every week.

This year, all of our classes are named after animals. Just like a speaking sparrow, we will use our confidence, curiosity and communication skills to discover new things. Sparrows are small but full of energy and are often found working together and communicating with one another. In Speaking Sparrow Class, we will be encouraged to share our ideas, ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully to others and have the confidence to speak up. Our classroom will be a place where we can learn together, solve problems, share ideas and learn from our mistakes.
